Campground Rules

These rules are intended for the safety and enjoyment of our campers and staff.
Violation of these rules may result in the immediate removal from the resort without refund.

Quiet time is from 10PM to 8AM and will be strictly enforced. No motorcycles or loud vehicles may be operated in the resort during quiet hours. No drones or off-road vehicles are permitted in the resort at any time. Transportation within the resort is limited to bicycles and/or golf carts.

The resort speed limit is 5mph, and is strictly enforced!

Only 1 camping unit and 1 vehicle per site is allowed unless the office determines that your site can accommodate a second vehicle. There is absolutely no parking on the grass or any of the roadways. There are no tents, screen houses with bottoms or carpets allowed on the grass as it damages the grass beneath.

No fireworks, firearms, knives, bow and arrows, ect. are permitted.

Registration
All campers and pets must register at the office upon arrival and prior to entering the campground, per Maine State Law. All fees must be paid prior to arrival. All adults require a valid state ID and all pets require proof of vaccination. Sites are limited to a maximum of 4 adults, 6 people total (including guests), and 2 dogs (please review pet policy). Guests are not permitted any pets. Families with additional children will need to make reservations through the office. You must include the names of any guests on your registration prior to their arrival. Any guests not on your registration will be turned away. All guests must check-in at the office prior to entering the campground, pay the fee and park at the office. Guests must exit the campground no later than 10:00 PM.

Check-In Time: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Check-Out Time: 1:00 PM


If checking in after 8:00 PM, prior arrangements will need to be made through the office.

Children
Cole’s Mine RV Resort and Campground is a family friendly campground, and we welcome children. That being said, our first priority is the safety of all children. As the registered guest, you are responsible for the actions of all those on your registration.

Please be aware that No Children under 16 years of age are permitted in the pool area without a responsible adult. All children must return to their site by dusk unless accompanied by an adult. All children under the age of 16 must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Thank you for helping us keep a safe and enjoyable experience for all our campers.

Pets
All approved pets (including cats) must be on a leash at all times (no exceptions). We have zero tolerance for any animal that shows aggression. Our campers must feel comfortable walking by your site, without the threat of a lunging or growling dog. All campers must immediately clean up after their pets (bag and dispose). No throwing in the woods please. Barking dogs will not be allowed. If barking occurs and persists the animal must be removed from the park. Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet when walking throughout the resort. Pets are not allowed in the pool or playground areas. Do not allow your pets to “go” on others sites at any time. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of proof must be supplied to the office upon check-in.

Bicycles
No bicycle riding in the park after dark without proper lighting front and rear. Per Maine state law all bicycle riders under the age of 16 must wear a helmet. This applies in or out of the resort. Bicycles must be clear of all roadways and walking paths.

Pool
Pool hours will be posted, including the time allotted for adult swim time (customers 21 years of age & older). Pool will be closed during inclement weather. No unattended children under the age of 16 will be allowed in the pool at any time without adult supervision – NO EXCEPTIONS. There are no lifeguards on duty, it is Swim At Your Own Risk. There is NO DIVING, climbing on rockscape/water feature or flips allowed. No glass or food of any kind can be taken into the pool area. Only plastic water bottles will be allowed within the pool/patio area. All rules must be followed or you will be ejected from the resort without refund.

Trash Pick-up
All bagged garbage will be picked up at your site at the posted time. Household garbage from your unit only. No large items such as furniture, BBQs, LP containers, bicycles or any hazardous materials will be accepted. It is your responsibility to dispose of these items at the appropriate town dump.

Alcohol & Drugs
Illegal drugs & misuses of alcohol beverages or underage drinking will NOT be tolerated, and will be grounds for ejection from the resort without refund. Driving while intoxicated in the resort is strictly prohibited, including golf carts. Marijuana is prohibited in the resort. Smoking of cigars/cigarettes or vaping is restricted to your campsite only. Please dispose of your butts appropriately. Drunkenness, disorderly conduct or obscene language will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate ejection without refund.

Golf Carts
Golf carts must be operated in a safe manner and by a licensed driver only! Golf carts must have working lights and all occupants must be seated inside the vehicle. Proof of liability insurance must be on file with the office prior to use.

Firewood
ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUND, which includes firewood from the State of Maine. Only sealed (un-opened), certified bug-free wood with the State of Maine seal is permitted and must be inspected by Campground personnel. Firewood is sold in the office. No cutting of trees on property is allowed. Any damage to trees, lawns, fire pits or picnic tables that is done by you, your family, pets or guests is your responsibility, and you will be billed accordingly.

Payment & Refund Policy
Please note that we require a 50% deposit to reserve your site. Final payment is required 14 days prior to arrival, and the credit card used to make your deposit will be automatically charged. If you prefer to use an alternative card, please contact the office no less than 15 days prior to arrival. If final payment is not received prior to 14 days of arrival, you lose your deposit and your reservation. Holiday weekends must be paid in full upon booking, and they are not refundable (with the exception of Travel Protection).

If a cancellation is made with greater than 30 days to arrival, you will receive a refund minus a $25 administration fee. If a cancellation is made 15 – 30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund (if reservation was paid in full) minus the deposit. Any cancellation made in less than 14 days results in $0 refund/credit unless Travel Protection was purchased when making your reservation. Please review the criteria for receiving a full refund using Travel Protection. There will be no refund for cancellations due to inclement weather, early departure, or ejection from resort.
